OPTIMUS-6G

Optimized 6G-enabled IoT networks for unlicensed operations in the computing continuum

About OPTIMUS-6G

OPTIMUS-6G is a European research project advancing 6G-enabled IoT networks for fast, reliable, low-latency operations in unlicensed spectrum. The project develops multi-band and multi-RAT communication technologies, AI-driven orchestration, and network digital twin capabilities to support data processing across the computing continuum. Its framework will be validated in industrial, healthcare, and campus network environments.

Multi-band Communication and Sensing

Radio and optical technologies are combined to enable reliable, high-capacity 6G-IoT communication and sensing in unlicensed spectrum.

Intelligent Optimization

AI-driven orchestration and cross-layer protocols optimize communication, energy efficiency, resource allocation and data processing across the computing continuum.

Network Digital Twins

Digital twin technologies support planning, simulation, monitoring and optimization of 6G-IoT systems across realistic deployment scenarios.

Our Objectives
